Beautiful embroidered tulle detachable skirt with trailing wildflower design.
This perfectly floral bridal overskirt is ideal for wearing over a simple wedding dress or trousers. Matching veil and accessories available.
**UPDATE = the exact fabric in the photos has been hard to source recently. The new fabric is very similar (almost identical in design) but has less yellow in it. I am happy to send samples or photos of the available fabric **
The overskirts that I make are custom made to your measurements.
The skirt has an appliqued waistband made from flowers and leaves cut from the same fabric. Sewn around the inside of the waistband are safety brooch pins, these are how you pin the skirt onto your dress or trousers. The skirt is usually 'open' (like a wrap skirt) and the split worn at the front to reveal your dress and make it easier to walk.
The combination of pinning it to your outfit, and the split in the front means that it is a very flexible design for weight fluctuations and minor mistakes in measurements. This is reassuring if you are measuring yourself and don't have your wedding dress on at the same time (as this may or may not cinch you in, or add centimetres depending on its design). This flexibility also helps if you are pregnant or postpartum and unsure on what your size will be on the day. If you are smaller than the given measurements, you can pin the skirt by overlapping the front section of the belt. If you are slightly larger than your given measurements, then you simply pin the skirt on and have a slight open gap at the front, which looks intentional and reveals the beautiful dress that is underneath!
Items are made to order, so every skirt is unique and will look slightly different from the listing pictures.
Please message measurements-
>A. Waist measurement (around your torso where it will be on your body, this could be at your narrowest point or lower, possibly on your hips which is wider) wherever you will wear the skirt.
>B. Centre front measurement (from your A measurement position down to the floor in front of you feet). Wear shoes to be accurate, I don't want you tripping over it!!
>C*. Centre back measurement (from your A measurement position down to the floor or end of the 'train')
Remember to wear your heels (or shoes that you will be using with the skirt) and the same underwear/outfit, if possible when taking waist measurements.
Please allow 10-12 weeks for the making process.
I am based in North Hampshire and ship worldwide. Please note that all computer and phone screens are different and items may not be exactly the same colours you see online.

Will I be charged Tax?
Etsy will usually include how much tax you will need to pay, once you go to check out. However, some countries (Germany for example) requires a customs charge that Etsy does not take. This has lead to parcels being held at customs until the fee has been paid. Please make sure you are aware of any customs charges your country may require to avoid a nasty surprise!
Can I return the item?
